Solskjaer Invites Fergie🙌 to Give Man Utd Players Liverpool Peptalk💬

Image
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has said he would welcome Sir Alex Ferguson addressing his Manchester United players ahead of their meeting with Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday. The legendary Scot delivered 13 top-flight titles during a hugely successful period in charge of the club, successfully overtaking Liverpool's tally of 18, with United currently on a total of 20. Indeed, Ferguson famously stated that his aim when he took over at Old Trafford back in 1986 was to "knock Liverpool right off their f*cking perch" and end the Reds' dominance of English football at the time. And Solskjaer, who spent 11 years playing under Ferguson and made a total of 366 appearances for the Red Devils, is keen for the 77-year-old to share his wealth of knowledge on the fixture to his current United squad. "[Sir Alex Ferguson] would be welcome to have his talk to the players if he wanted to, the gaffer, because we know how much it meant for him to overtake Liverpool,"

Reports📰: Chelsea to Consider Holland If Sarri is Sacked❗

Image
Chelsea would consider approaching their former coach and current England assistant manager Steve Holland to help steady the ship on an interim basis if they call time on Maurizio Sarri’s tenure at the club over the next week. Sarri, who is seven months into a three-year contract, is clinging to his job despite the team’s progress into the last 16 of the Europa League on Thursday night. Recent humiliating defeats by Manchester City and Bournemouth have eroded confidence in the Italian, who faces pivotal games against City in Sunday’s Carabao Cup final and Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League next Wednesday. Meek defeat in either of those matches is expected to see the head coach sacked, with Holland believed to be Chelsea’s favoured option to take up the reins for the remainder of the season if he can be persuaded to combine his duties with the national team with those at the club. He would expect a prominent and hands-on role. The Football Association would need convincing that

Solskjaer Hopeful Martial & Lingard⚡ Will Be Fit for Liverpool

Image
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is hopeful he will have Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard available again when Manchester United host Liverpool on Sunday. Both Martial and Lingard were forced off during United's Champions League defeat to Paris Saint-Germain last week, with Solskjaer initially suggesting the pair could be out for up to three weeks. But the two key men are potentially back in contention for this weekend's crunch clash at Old Trafford, having recovered well over the last few days. Solskjaer revealed that Martial is closer to full fitness than Lingard, yet he hopes to be able to call on both men against rivals Liverpool this weekend. "I hope and think Anthony will be ready and I hope Jesse will be ready because it's two different injuries," Solskjaer told United's official website. "So maybe more hope than think, with Anthony as well, but he's got a chance. "Anyway, we still hope Jesse could be ready. Let's see. We've still

Chelsea🔵 Plan to Appeal Transfer Ban❗

Image
Chelsea have stated their intention to appeal the two-window transfer ban imposed on them by FIFA for alleged breaches of regulations regarding the acquisition of players under the age of 18. A statement released on the club’s official website read: “Chelsea FC has today received a decision from the FIFA Disciplinary Committee concerning alleged breaches of the FIFA Regulations that relate to the international transfer of players under the age of 18. “The decision imposes a transfer ban of two consecutive registration periods and a fine of 600k Swiss francs. “Chelsea FC categorically refutes the findings of the FIFA Disciplinary Committee and will therefore be appealing the decision. “The club wishes to emphasise that it respects the important work undertaken by FIFA in relation to the protection of minors and has fully cooperated with FIFA throughout its investigation. “Initially, Chelsea FC was charged under Articles 19.1 and 19.3 in relation to 92 players. Chelsea🔵 Hit With Transfer Ban🚫

Chelsea have been banned from the transfer market for two windows after FIFA found them guilty of a serious and systemic breach of the rules regarding their dealings with foreign players under the age of 18. The governing body announced the sanction on Friday at the end of a lengthy investigation into the club and how they have registered players at their academy over a number of years. FIFA had looked into more than 100 player cases at Chelsea. FIFA said that the club had been found guilty of 29 breaches of Article 19 – the most serious infringements relating to the registration of minors and several others. Chelsea have been fined 600,000 Swiss francs (£460,000) and given 90 days to “regularise the situation of the minor players concerned”, which could involve them being forced to move on anyone brought to the club in contravention of the regulations. The club have the right to appeal to FIFA and then to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS). It is possible they could delay
