Chelsea's Signing of Christensen Now Being Looked Into

The FA are reviewing allegations following reports of alleged illegal payments to Andreas Christensen's father around the time of his transfer to Chelsea from Brondby. The Blues reportedly employed the young Dane's father - Sten - as a scout on the same day that they signed the player, and was paid over £650,000 across four years. Clubs are not allowed to make payments to families of minors and the Premier League have handed both Liverpool and Everton fines and youth transfer bans in the past for similar breaches of conduct. “The FA is aware of the allegations and we are reviewing them,” an FA spokesman said in a statement to Goal. Sten was a goalkeeping coach at Brondby, and Football Leaks' original allegation - published by Politiken in November - suggested that he remained at his post at the Danish club and did not actually work as a scout for Chelsea. FA to Investigate Man City's Signing of Sancho

The Football Association is set to investigate the deal that took Jadon Sancho to Manchester City from Watford in 2015 over an alleged payment made to the player's agent. German publication Der Spiegel claims to have seen documents from whistleblowers Football Leaks that show City paid Emeka Obasi £200,000 as part of the scouting contract to find players in South and Central America. Der Spiegel alleged this payment was actually in relation to Sancho's move from Watford as a 14-year-old, with the process arranged to circumvent FIFA rules that prevent agent fees being made in transfers involving minors. It has also claimed to have seen an e-mail sent to Sancho's father outlining what salary and bonuses he would receive once he turned professional. According to the report, a club lawyer later intervened stressing the letter was not an offer.
