Man Utd Squad for PSG Champions League Clash Confirmed

Manchester United are without a host of first-team stars for their Champions League clash with Paris Saint-Germain, with the likes of Anthony Martial, Jesse Lingard and Ander Herrera again missing out.

The trio were also absent from United's 3-2 win over Southampton on Saturday, with youngsters Angel Gomes and Tahith Chong named on the bench for that game.

And both youngsters are also in the travelling party heading to Paris on Tuesday, while there's also a place for 17-year-old striker Mason Greenwood, and 17-year-old midfielder James Garner.

Here is the squad: 
Keepers: De Gea, Romero, Grant.

Denders: Bailly, Dalot, Lindelof, Rojo, Shaw, Smalling, Williams, Young.

Midfielders: Fred, Garner, Gomes, McTominay, Pereira.

Forwards: Chong, Greenwood, Lukaku, Rashford.

Lindelof Has No Bad Blood With Mourinho

Victor Lindelof said he has nothing bad to say about former Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho as he praised Ole Gunnar Solskjaer for bringing "presence" to Old Trafford. Mourinho was sacked in December amid reports of dressing-room unrest and replaced by United favourite Solskjaer, who has only tasted defeat once in all competitions. Lindelof was brought to United by Mourinho in 2017 but the Sweden defender found himself in and out of the team under the Portuguese boss, who wanted to sign a new centre-back before his departure. The FA are reviewing allegations following reports of alleged illegal payments to Andreas Christensen's father around the time of his transfer to Chelsea from Brondby. The Blues reportedly employed the young Dane's father - Sten - as a scout on the same day that they signed the player, and was paid over £650,000 across four years. Clubs are not allowed to make payments to families of minors and the Premier League have handed both Liverpool and Everton fines and youth transfer bans in the past for similar breaches of conduct. “The FA is aware of the allegations and we are reviewing them,” an FA spokesman said in a statement to Goal. Edinson Cavani is not ready to make his return for Paris Saint-Germain and is likely to miss the second leg of their Champions League clash with Manchester United, according to Thomas Tuchel. Cavani has been out of action since suffering a hip injury against Bordeaux on February 9 and the Uruguay international missed PSG's 2-0 win at Old Trafford as a result.
